COURSE NAME:  LAW122 Criminal Justice Management

Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)

Students will learn the essentials of Criminal Justice Management.  Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) describe management practices for criminal justice agencies, the importance of ethics and how it applies to criminal justice professionals, 2) discuss the development of constitutional, criminal, and administrative laws affecting operations federal, state and municipal agencies, 3) outline the methods for identifying, improving, and solving problems in management and performance and implement disaster procedures, and 4) explain legal issues in employment law, including the hiring, promoting, disciplining, and discharging of employees.

A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.
