Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Education is one of the greatest investments you as a students can make, and Financial Aid is one of the tools that can help you reach your goal. Education would help you to launch a new career or become a professional in your current job or career. The purpose of the Financial Aid Program is to help the students who are in need.

Students must understand the difference between Grants and Loans.  Grants come in different forms and from different sources.  The student does not pay back Grants and Scholarships; they are free.  However, loans which comes from different sources must be paid back, mostly with interest.  The student must understand everything about loans, including the amount, the interest rate, the period (in months or years), and the repayment start date.

Calculating Financial Need

The following steps are used in calculating financial need:

  • The Financial Aid office subtracts the Expected Family Contribution from the estimated cost of attending school, and the difference is the financial need.
  • The Expected Family Contribution is determined through the Financial Aid application form the student completes and submits to the Financial Aid office.
  • Available Financial Aid is then awarded to the student, and the total Financial Aid award may not exceed the total estimated cost of attending college.

Refund of Tuition

A full 100% refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 72 hours after the enrollment contract is signed or within the student’s first three scheduled class days. The request must be received by Joshua in writing within the program duration by e-mail or by registered mail before the deadline.  Tuition is charged after the start of each program and the refund calculation is based on that amount of tuition charged. Refund Policy.
