COURSE NAME: LAW105 Wills and Trusts
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the essentials of Wills and Trusts. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain the role of a paralegal in a wills and trusts law firm, 2) explain the concepts of Descent and Distribution, treatment of Categories of Potential Heirs, and other Survivors, 3) describe the rrequirements of a valid Will and changing circumstances after Will Revocation of Will, and interpretation and constraints, and 4) identify Will contest and other Will issues, Estate Administration and Non Probate Transfers, Inter Vivos Transfers and Co-Ownership of Property.
