COURSE NAME: LAW108 Torts Law
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the essentials of Personal Injury and Torts law. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain the role of a paralegal in a personal injury or tort case, and the process to assemble information for trial 2) identify the principles of Negligence and Negligence Actions, Defenses to Negligence, Intentional Torts, and Injuries to Person, 3) describe Intentional Torts, more Injuries to Person, Injuries to Property, and Defenses to Intentional Torts, and 4) define Strict and Absolute Liabilities, Product Liability, Special Torts Actions, Tort Immunities, and Investigation and the legal concepts and the legal procedures associated with personal injury and torts law.

Award Upon Completion
