COURSE NAME: CRT CNA101 ND Fundamentals of Networking
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the fundamentals of networking. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain how to use router image backups, use the copy, show and debug commands, convert binary to decimal number, and assign IP addresses to routers, 2) discuss protocols at the Transport layer, login to a Catalyst switch, configure a switch, and troubleshoot slow or no connectivity issues, 3) distinguish between WLANs and LANs, configure an IOS device, a Cisco router, and a IOS DHCP server, and 4) describe how to manage Telnet sessions, select WAN physical link layer technologies, configure RIP routing, and manage device configuration files.

A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.

Award Upon Completion
