COURSE NAME:  LAW124 Agency Law

Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)

Students will learn the essentials of Agency Law.  Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) describe the various types of agency laws, agency statutes with special emphasis to business cases, and duties and obligations of principals, 2) explain deceptive trade practices and the duties and obligations of the client and  customer and explain the actual and apparent authority, 3) distinguish between dual agency and the intermediary relationships and illustrate ways in which agency relationships can be created, and 4) discuss the creation of agency, fiduciary obligations, responsibilities of agency, and the termination of agency.

A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.

Late Assignment Policy: If unable to complete assignments or tests on time, please contact your instructor before the due date.Assignments or tests submitted after the due date without appropriate excuse and pre-approval will receive a zero score.
