COURSE NAME: CRT HCA109 Modern Medical Coding II
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn practical medical coding techniques. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain the evaluation and management (E/M) coding, surgery, body system coding, 2) discuss how to use anesthesia CPT codes and solve coding problems, 3) describe how to use radiology and pathology coding, and 4) explain how to use the coding for cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems.

Course Grading and Policies
Points from: Lessons, Assignments, Tests, Classroom Discussion, and Course Portfolio are factors in grade point calculation.
A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.
