COURSE NAME: BUS109 Office Management
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the essentials of office management. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) outline effective programs for evaluating and analyzing performances and effectiveness of office employees, 2) describe an effective system for measuring and improving the productivity of office employees including full capacity usage, 3) explain effective programs for evaluating employees in administering appropriate salaries and financial rewards and cost control procedures to maximize profits, and 4) discuss avenues of measuring performance and giving incentives or rewards to employees with higher productivity and job improvements.

A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.

Award Upon Completion
The student will receive three credit hours upon completion of the course.
