COURSE NAME:  CNP104 Application Implementation

Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)

Students will learn the essentials of application implementation.  Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) identify and explain the Cisco Unified Communications solutions components, the characteristics of CUCM IBM IDS database, and the CUCM licensing model, 2) describe how basic settings on Cisco Unified Communications Manager are configured and differentiate between network and feature services managed using Cisco Unified Serviceability, 3) describe Cisco Unified Communications Manager BAT user management operation and how to assign user privileges to application and end users the CUCM Bulk Administration Tool (BAT) and 4)  explain how to add a third-party SIP IP phones to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, how to enable endpoint configuration elements, and how Cisco Unified Communications Manager Auto-Register Phone Tool can be used to add IP phones

Course Grading and Policies

Points from:  Lessons, Assignments, Tests, Classroom Discussion, and Course Portfolio are factors in grade point calculation.

A = 90% – 100%, B = 80% – 89%, C = 70% – 79%, D = 60% – 69%, F = 59% and Below.

Late Assignment Policy: If unable to complete assignments or tests on time, please contact your instructor before the due date.  Assignments or tests submitted after the due date without appropriate excuse and pre-approval will receive a zero score.

Award Upon Completion

The student will receive three credit hours upon completion of the course.
