COURSE NAME: HCA107 Modern Medical Billing II
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn practical medical billing techniques. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain how to create and file insurance claims including Medicare correctly, 2) describe federal legislation and the medical regulations in healthcare, 3) discuss how to apply CPT codes for services and procedures and ICD-9-CM codes, and 4) explain how to apply HCPCS level II codes and modifiers.

Award Upon Completion
