Students will learn the essentials of customer relations. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) define human relations, self-esteem, the importance of first impressions, and ethics related to the business world and social responsibility, 2) discuss the techniques to communicate effectively both written and oral and outline critical problem-solving skills, proper telephone, and e-mail etiquette, 3) describe how to maintain successful relationships with customers, individuals at work, and individuals in the society, and 4) explain how to handle difficult people by recognizing the factors that affect a person’s positive or negative attitude by utilizing their knowledge of behaviors.

Award Upon Completion
